I traveled for one month around California and I swear I saw the most breathtaking landscapes. It was a great experience to explore new places, to try the local food and to meet new people. I got lucky enough to grab a few stills and I’m still working on a video.
Ah, home. :)

Things that make me wish I was an old cat lady:
My flatmate singing Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” off-key at the top of her lungs while I’m practicing mandolin. SILENCIO, WOMAN.
Rant over.
This week at my school, we’ve been having troubles as a community regarding the acceptance of students of different races, backgrounds, and sexual orientation. As part of a senior assignment to “make a spectacle on campus” one of our senior prefects decided to make a wall with quotes submitted anonymously by alumna and current students discussing why they don’t want to come-out at our school. The wall not only made us all think differently about everyone around us, but also bonded us after the racist, sexist, and homophobic comments that were made this week. To show our support for those that opened up to the wall, students wrote on post-it notes and stuck them on the wall. I hope that people are not only inspired by this, but also not self-centered enough to pass my photos off as their own.
